Progo said Friday Ketoprak festival attended by 12 participants from 12
districts.
"This Ketoprak Festival in order to preserve and develop the arts and
culture, as well as increased creativity artists in society,
particularly kethoprak," he said.
He said the festival is divided into four zones Ketoprak the first zone
of the District Samigaluh, Kalibawang and Girimulyo, pementasannya
Field Banjarharjo. The second zone includes District Nanggulan, Love and Sentolo, staging at the Compassionate.
Furthermore, the third zone Kokap, Temon and Wates that the play in Kokap. The fourth zone includes District Lines, Lendah and Panjatan, the play on the strain.
"All groups compete to be the winner. However, based on the assessment
results Ketoprak Festival 2014, the District Compassionate become the
overall champion," he said.
He said at this festival will be searching for the best actor male and
female, best stage manager, supporting actor and best young men. Players must be from the young because the main purpose of the festival is the regeneration Ketoprak artists.
"We want to change the way the views of staging without staging
scenarios are based on the scenario, so Ketoprak can be enjoyed across
generations, especially the younger generation," he said.
